Paint, Mirror, After Effects
“Lifetime of a Flower” is an original script that I made up. The short-film was firstly made by creating every frame shot with paint on mirror, one at a time, to later assemble every shot with a stop-motion technique. The environments luminosity and other eventualities of filming on exteriors were clearly a disadvantage and a challenge to restrain. Additionally, the technique chosen (several colour paints on mirror) and the camera movements made the production a much more difficult task.
